In Ann's own words, "I see boats as a metaphor for migration. This idea was inspired by my grandparents who migrated from the United Kingdom last century. I now realise how brave they were to leave all their family and their culture behind to contribute to the melting pot of Australia."
Art on Cairncross is located at Cairncross Corner near Maleny and located next to the famous "Terrace Restaurant". The Gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
